Journey 150km south to one of Morocco’s most spectacular natural wonders: Legzira Beach and its iconic red stone arches carved by Atlantic erosion. Combined with Tiznit—the region’s silver jewelry capital—this excursion offers geological drama and cultural depth in the deep south.

Legzira’s massive natural sandstone arches (one collapsed in 2016, but the main arch remains) create a Martian landscape of red rock against turquoise Atlantic. The beach is wild, windy, and unspoiled by development—dramatically different from Agadir’s manicured resort strips. Nearby Tiznit offers a complete contrast: a walled city famous for the quality of its Berber silver jewelry, where artisans still craft the fibulae (brooches) and bracelets that once formed a Berber woman’s portable wealth.

This is Agadir’s longest southern day trip, taking you close to the Western Sahara border region. The landscape becomes increasingly arid south of Massa, offering a preview of desert Morocco while maintaining Atlantic coastal access.
